From: 11/19/2018 To: 11/19/2018

6 PM Pacific / 7 PM Mountain / 8 PM Central / 9 PM Eastern

The management of patients with sports related injuries can be confusing. Do I manage these patients the same way as other non-athletes? Should I fix the fracture and does the rehabilitation of these patients vary to get the patient back to play sooner? Is there a role for non-operative treatment? The goal of this webinar is to help the practitioner develop a practical understanding of how to manage these disorders using a case-based approach. Join us for this 60-minute case-based discussion that will change your clinical practice!

Learning Objectives:

  • Develop an understanding of the sports related injuries experienced by weekend warriors.
  • Recognize the nuances in the decision-making process of these injuries.
  • Understand the role of therapy in recovery after sports related injuries to the hand and wrist.

Participants are encouraged to submit cases before October 31 so that they can be reviewed by the faculty.  Submit your cases to Julia Epplin-Zapf at [email protected].  During the case discussion, there will also be an opportunity to pose live questions to the panel.
