You may have seen it in President Kozin’s January update, or when you read the Correspondence News or Coding Corner newsletter. In each of those cases, you have seen the future of ASSH member resources: Hand-e
Even in these few short months, Hand-e is growing and changing. We have made changes to the ways you can find and access content, we have added more content, and we have commissioned a team of 23 section editors to cultivate Hand-e content in a way that ensures the value of Hand-e to ASSH members.
Our editorial team’s focus in the short term is enhancing the seamless access to articles, images and videos from the ASSH textbook, scientific abstracts, ASSH newsletters, annual meeting videos and presentations and soon, the Journal of Hand Surgery, all through Hand-e.
Our subsequent focus will be on expanding our surgical technique video library so that Hand-e’s Surgical Skills library will become your go-to reference. All Hand-e content is peer-reviewed by these section editors, so you know it is a source you can trust.
and see for yourself. Whether you browse the menus or search, you will see the depth and breadth of resources available to you as an ASSH member.
If you have suggestions for additional content to expand or enhance Hand-e, we want to hear from you. Send your emails to email@example.com
or feel free to contact me directly or the ASSH staff, Dan Maron and Michael Vega.
The more each of us uses Hand-e, the better it will become. Happy searching!
