Join ASSH

The American Society for Surgery of the Hand is the oldest and most prestigious medical specialty society in the United States devoted entirely to the hand and upper extremity. What started as a small group of 35 surgeons in the 1940s has grown to a Society of more than 3,500 members.  Throughout the years, ASSH members have produced essential, long-lasting educational resources for their specialty.  Their collaborations with each other, fostered by the Hand Society, have proven invaluable.

Joining ASSH as any member type will connect you with the largest network of hand and upper extremity surgeons in the world.  View the full list of ASSH membership categories below, and choose the one that’s right for you.
